Leslie
was born and raised in the Roanoke Valley and has spent the majority of her life teaching here. In addition to her local training,
she has traveled from New York to Orlando furthering her dance education. She has studied with dance legends such as Frank
Hatchett, David Howard, Karen Hebert, Luigi, Debbie Dee and Mike Minery. Her choreography has won many top place awards at
regional and national competitions, including multiple choreography awards. Leslie has worked with the Southwest
Virginia Ballet Company and the Rockbridge Modern Dance Company as a guest instructor. In 1999-2003 she worked with Halestone
Dance Studio, in Lexington, Virginia directing the tap program. Leslie is entering her 12th year as
owner and instructor for Valley Dance Productions. She's a certified member of Dance Educators of America in Ballet and Tap.

Kortney
is entering her fifth
year as a Valley Dance Productions faculty member. She started dancing at the early age of six and has trained extensively
here in the Roanoke Valley in the subjects of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Pointe.
In the fall of 2007 she had the privilege to have studied the Nikolais Louis method of Modern through Shanandoah University.
Her choreography is already being recognized and been highly awarded at regional competitions. Kortney has traveled extensively throughout
the East Coast training with well renowned choreographers such as Pamela Bolling, Tom Alexander, Marty Kudelka, and Tabitha
and Napolean D’umo.

Rachael
is a 2004 graduate of Roanoke College with a Bachelors of Business Administration. In the fall of 2004 she
began crafting her teaching skills by assisting in children’s ballet classes, and developed a passion for instruction
that led to her present career. In addition to instructing our children’s program, Rachael also works in the Administrative offices at
Roanoke College. Since joining the faculty Rachael has had the opportunity to train under esteemed instructors such as Kasey
Combs, Janice Barringer, Becca Retter and the late, great Steven Boyd.
